AP Comparative Government & Politics is an introductory course that compares political systems and structures
of nation-states from various parts of the globe. Students will develop an understanding of why political scientists use the
comparative method and how it assists in predicting, explaining, and describing political issues and concepts.
While we will look at numerous systems and regions throughout the course of this class the major focus for the AP exam
will be the following six countries: Great Britain, Mexico, Nigeria, Russia, China, and Iran.
